I came to Innovation Station in May of 2015. Although this has been my first experience working in a child care center, I have been babysitting children since I was 12 years- my neighbors, siblings, and nieces.  I tried cosmetology school for a while, but I definitely found my calling in being a teacher. It must be in my family because my mom used to run an in-home daycare when I was younger. My favorite part has been getting to show my creativity with interesting art projects.

I was born in Chicago, Illinois but raised in Milwaukee, Wi. I am the oldest of six siblings, three sisters and three brothers. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors. I have been at Innovation Station since June of 2020 as one of the infant teachers. Currently I’m working towards furthering my education in the early childhood field.

Hi my husband and I have lived in Germantown for the last 26 years, where we raised our two children. I have been in childcare for 15 years. The best part of this job is it’s something new everyday and watching the kids grow and learn! I love that parents choose to share their child with me!

I came to Innovation Station in June of 2014. I had been in catering and event planning for several years, before taking a management position in food service at Brookfield Central. I’m very involved in the dog rescue world. I foster dogs when I am not at work. It’s nice being the one all the kids love since I cook all the food!

I have lived in Wisconsin all of my life. Ever since I was in elementary school, I knew I wanted to be a teacher or at least work with children. I started taking care of my cousins really young. At nine years old I knew how to change a diaper and make a bottle. I helped my mom raise her boyfriend’s nephew when I was 12, from when he was 3 months old until now at 9 years old. I have always loved kids and felt this nurturing pull around them.

I am currently attending school at UW-Milwaukee, studying nursing and psychology. I am Ms. Allie’s and Ms. Hannah’s brother. It is so fun to have the privilege to work with family! My mom has been a kindergarten teacher since 1987, so I was raised in a classroom and learned some tricks of the trade. I am very excited to start at Innovation Station and can not wait to meet all of the children!

I have worked in childcare for several years now. I have always known that I wanted to work 1 with kids since I was in high school. I took child development classes in high school and WCTC. I went to 4C to get all the classes I needed to work in the early childcare field. I have 4 dogs at home. One is my own, the other three are my parent’s dogs. When I'm not at work, I enjoy going to Brewer’s games and hanging out with my dog.

I received my associate’s degree from Gogbic Community College in early childhood education. This is in Ironwood, Michigan, which is where I met my husband. We moved to West Allis so he could continue working towards his engineering degree. This is when I began working for a non-profit childcare center on the south side of Milwaukee, which I loved! I chose to be a stay-at-home mom after the birth of my eldest daughter, Elinor. Three years later Aanikka joined us! Nine years later, I found Innovation Station. I have enjoyed being back in child care!

I've been working with children ever since I was old enough to babysit. My mother is a kindergarten teacher. Once I reached high school, every chance I got I was helping her in the classroom. I loved spending time with the kids. I was lucky enough to sub as a teacher aide at the school as well. My next adventure took me to a daycare, where I was an assistant teacher. I loved getting to know and work with all the kids at the center. I’m excited to start my next chapter at Innovation Station.

I am new to the Milwaukee area! I moved here from Illinois, I have worked in early childhood education for almost seven years. I am so excited to start my new journey here. In my freetime I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and pets.

I have lived in Milwaukee for 5 years and am originally form Northern Wisconsin. I have worked in childcare since I was in middle school when I started baby sitting. Working with kids has always been a love of mine. Outside of work I love reading, watching movies and am always ready t talk about a good book. I love traveling with my family and our dog, Mack

I grew up in Southeastern Wisconsin, and now I live in South Milwaukee.

For the past 2 years, I have been a stay-at-home mom to my 2-year-old son, Elijah!

I am new to Wisconsin, I just arrived here in July. I am originally from New Mexico, but we just moved here from Arizona. My husband is a special warfare recruiter for the Air Force. I have two kids, an eleven year old son and a five year old daughter. I have been working with children since I was thirteen. For the past twelve years I have been a stay at home mother, and I spent my time entertaining myself by playing video games, collecting Batman comic books and teaching my daughter to say Batman movie quotes in spanish.
